Bilingual Grammar School Programme

Grammar school programme with subjects taught in English (immersion)

Within the framework of a pilot project Kantonsschule Limmattal offers, as from the school year 2007/2008, a new immersive educational programme in English.

Bilingual tuition is offered to one class of the Economics and Law Pathway or the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Pathway majoring in Biology and Chemistry.

As from the second year of the four-year grammar school programme (Kurzzeitgymnasium, Year 10), the immersion class is taught four subjects in English: presumably Geography, History, Mathematics, Economics and Law

 Admission to the immersion class is administered by the senior management of the school and is subject to availability of places. There is no guarantee for admittance to the bilingual grammar school programme. No discussions will be entered into with regard to a request for a change of profile after non-admittance to the immersion class.
