Kantonsschule Limmattal, a Swiss state grammar school, is a centre for higher secondary education for the regions Knonauer Amt and Limmattal. The school is situated in north-west Urdorf. We offer young people a wide-ranging, balanced and coherent grammar school programme either directly after primary school (Years 7 to 12), or a shorter, four-year programme (Years 9 to 12), which students enter after completion of two or three years at secondary school. Both programmes are completed with the Swiss Matriculation Certificate (Maturität), which enables entrance to all the Swiss universities and the Federal Institute of Technology. Our school presently comprises approximately 750 students taught by around 110 teachers. It is one of the smaller state grammar schools of the Canton of Zurich and is as such characterized by an atmosphere of support and respect. As the most recently founded grammar school of the Canton of Zurich, our school is located in a spacious modern building, equipped with sophisticated infrastructure and set in ample grounds. |
